Whistling is good for around wellness. Whistling strengthens lungs and massages organs. When you inhale the diaphragm drops, and when exhaling it raises, massaging and simulating circulation in all inter organs.
The reason happy people whistle is because they have plenty of oxygen in their body and that would make anyone happy.
Proper breathing: As you inhale the stomach moves outwards as diaphragm drops, the air gets moisturizer while entering through the nose while the mouth is closed and the tong is on the roof of the mouth. As you exhale, the air exits through your opened mouth as the stomach moves inward and this helps remove excess moisture in the lungs. Your organs are massaged as you breathe. When the diaphragm drops and when the stomach moves inwards, the organs are massaged by the movement, stimulating the flow of blood through the organs.
If hospitalized or bedridden, whistling (I play the harmonica) and cupping is a good way to keep the lungs and heart from build up moister, which could cause stress on the heart, pneumonia, and other breathing and circulation problems.
