There are many causes for Bad Breath; one could be the pathways (ducts) from the saliva glands (exocrine glands) may be blocked. Restricting the flow of salvia which consists of water, amylase, electrolytes, mucus, antibacterial compounds, and various enzymes. This compounds signal hormones, break down food, clean teeth, lubricates the food for digestion, and more.
When brushing your teeth (I use Miracle Soap) it is important to brush all parts of the inside of the mouth (inside of the cheeks and roof of the mouth) and tongue that you can reach. This will clear ducts of the old build up saliva and debris, which will also help digestion.
If you can, through out the day and after meals suck on a chewable Vitamin C, the ascorbic acid will help clean your mouth along with giving you some added health benefits. I suggest to my clients, 6,000 mg of vitamin C a day.
