Life after 40 years old

Our youth (up to 30 years old) gave us the time and opportunity to make bad chooses in health and other areas of our lives. But now we pay the piper.

The early 40s we noticed we are not young anymore:
*Blood count on different things start to change,
*Blood pressure goes up or down,
*Sugar balance starts to elevate,
*Our vision starts to worsen,
*We notice tiredness,
*We are unable to do some of the things we use to,
*We notice aches and pains we never had before or the ones we had are getting worse (low back pain and/or muscular),
*We see a doctor more now than we have in our whole life,
*We think maybe the best is behind us?

You are right, but you are to stubborn to admit it.

The wise ones among us are ready to make dramatic life style changes (maybe not all at once), they can see the future (things you won’t be able do anymore and sickness) if things don’t change. It is time to make some concuss decisions if you want to keep control of your life, it is illogical to believe we can continue doing what we have been doing and our health will improve. It was that inappropriate activity that got us to this stage of health.

First, Stop doing things we know will hurt us;
*Stop smoking
*Limit how often we go out to eat
*Watch what we eat
*No more soda pop
*Watch less television
*Stop sitting on our butts
*Limit candy and sugar intake

Next, Start looking at doing the healthy thing for a change;
*Prepare our own nutritional food
*Start learning and taking vitamins
*Walk more, park further out
*Increase your clean water intake (2 liters minimum)
*Do things, instead of expecting to be entertained
*Learn more on what it takes to be healthy
*Start associating with like-minded people (healthy minded)
*Get out of debt
*Keep your mind active, learn some different skills

Change your attitude towards life;
*Is the American Dream your dream? Who cares about the Jones’?
*How do you want to live your 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond?
*Do you want to be dependent on doctors, medicine, and/or government bureaucrats for the rest of your life?
*Are you looking forward to enrolling on government assistance, waiting in line, and the government chooses and means of caring for you (who knows what that will be)?
*What alternative health care options are available to me?
*I know once I get sick my options for health care is limited, but what are those options?

Your decisions in your 40s will determine your 50s which could be a downward spiral in health if you choose wrong, or an exciting freedom of life for the rest of your life if you choose correctly in your 40s. What are you going to do after 40?
