Everything I write about is what I have experienced. Now I am 62, I am healthier now then I was in my mid 50s. All of the males in my family were preparing to die at my age, and just in the last few months I have learned leather crafts and now I am taking scuba diving lessons. If it wasn’t for my wife’s stroke I would be out on the road somewhere helping others regain their health. Don’t get me wrong, I am thankful I have the knowledge and ability to help her, but I do wish she made better choices for her health in the past (40s and 50s).
I have few aches and pains, but when I get them, I (with the help from other natural healers) figure out why and start changing my life style (eating habits, diet, vitamins intake, herbal teas, activity level, and more) to correct the problem. Pain is not good; it is easier to fix a little pain before it turns bad. Any degree of pain means something is not right. Medical can not help pain until it is bad (you have a problem).
I need to take care of myself because of my active life style, and I don’t go to doctors (except for emergencies) and I will only take medicine for a limited time the last resort (if there is no natural cure).
We have chosen not to live our lives as ward of the state, but to continue doing what we can do for ourselves. With my practice, sharing my knowledge (books, videos, internet, private classes, and seminars), and my wife is what I focus on lately, so helping others is my life style. For my life, I want the richness of life, the length I have to work with is not important. I have enjoyed more life then most can imagine and even now I try to help others get the most out of their lives.
I am looking forward to life after 70, life is good.
